The terrible two’s are such a misnomer…they start WAY before 2 and end, well, I haven’t reached that point yet with my newly-turned 4 year old. And as far as the TV-sitter is concerned, don’t worry about it! If she will sit still for Elmo (or the Wiggles, Dora, Blue’s Clues, etc.) LET HER! You need that time just as much as she enjoys it, so don’t make yourself feel bad. We’ve all been there/are there. (hope my assvice doesn’t offend, just thinking outloud)

I agree with Charla - my 2 in 2 months kiddo has been practicing being 2 for a while now. New this week is a sweet, drawn out “Noooooooooooo” as her response to any question.
How’s swimming? I had the one kid in class who liked getting in the water and screamed getting out!
Hang in there! The terrible 2s lasted well into the 3s for us. It sucks. Take her to the “movie store” and let her pick out a couple of movies and declare it a movie marathon day. That and Play Doh are the best distracters. (and that drink that Texasbelle mentioned…damn I want one now…for breakfast!)

come over. ill make you my new fave drink: coconut rum and diet pepsi. It’ll rock your world, I shit you not. and remember: this too shall pass.
Give her a tampon and Elmo and it’s all good. Sorry to hear it’s so rough.
Glad to have you back in the two dimensional world in which we like to hang out. The three dimensional one can sometimes be tough!
I’m sorry. Teething sucks.
We have 3 molars coming in here. AT.THE.SAME.TIME. Holy hell, is it Friday for the bar yet??

I think I was subconsciously (sp?) worried about you, I dreamt about you! *hugs* glad your back to the online world.
Elmo to the rescue!
hope things get better soon. (my babies loved to chew on dill pickles when teething…the vinegar and cold would do something to relieve the pain)

Oh, it’s good to see you back. Hmm, let me think of how I can make you feel better…OH! I have an idea…more on that later!
I’m glad you’re alive, even if barely. I’ve got wine and chocolate. Come on over!
Aw I luv ya! Hang in there woman!
This too will pass, but then some other shit will start up. Just keep bitching.
Damn the damn teeth!
