Why You Have Two

I was recently asked if having two children was worth it. After all the sleepless nights, the PPD, the jealous older sibling bit.

I finally have a way to express my answer:

Yes.

You’re right. So worth it. My little man’s just at the stage where his sister can make him laugh too and that totally makes her not want to kill him any more. Ah, bliss..

I adore baby laughs. I also love it when we are driving down the road and both kids are laughing (so much better than the alternative, which we get too).

Hope has the exact same cooking stove!

Baby giggles are the best especially when combined with hiccups.

I’ll never forget the joy of seeing mine actually play like that the first time.

Oh, that just warmed my heart! I love the sounds of babies laughing.

yep, that’s the best sound ever and when I get to thinking about whether we should try again in October, I think about stuff like this…for him to have a sibling he can do this with…that perks me up. Don’t ya just love it when they laugh so hard but then you panic because it’s like “breathe!! breathe!!” and you wait for them to catch their breath and then you do that thing with the thing that makes them laugh and repeat the process. It’s like torture but good torture. Does that make any friggin sense?

I agree!  Having had one child, and not having my second and third until she was 15 years old, I can definitely say that it’s way more fun having two!  They are both adorable, Leslie!
