I miss you, chocolate

17/May/2005

It has been, officially, 27 hours, 15 minutes and 32 seconds since I had chocolate. I’m going pure, people. I’m going healthy. I’m going sugar free, processed free, food package free.

I’m going insane.

  1. Good luck Mrs. Flinger! I need motivation to lose those last stubborn pounds! I try to go on a diet , make it about three days then cave and go eat a big ass burrito w/ guacamole, sour cream… from Baja Fresh! If you suceed (which I know you can!) You’ll help motivate me! So keep on keepin’ on girl!:0)-KELLI

  2. Well, look here. You can’t deny yourself everything good otherwise you will fall off the wagon and then you’ll get all depressed and then there won’t be any more sex posts. (HAH!) Skip the processed crappola and most sugar, then treat yourself right with a little food of the gods every so often. Remember, the life changes have to be doable for the rest of your life.

  3. Anne said it better than I was going to smile Good luck! Just remember that denying yourself al the baddies (aKA yummies) wont work in the long run.

  4. OHhh, you’re RIGHT! No, really? My goal is to be able to do this SIX out of SEVEN days a week. That’s it. Work out FOUR days a week. Totally realistic. I can do this. I don’t NEED chocolate every night.

    Right?
    Yes.. No.. Yes
    Right?

I will, however, take some yummy recipe tips for low sugar, no processed goodness (hint hint **ahem** Anne)

  6. Oh wow. I mean WOW. I really need to do this. Chocolate and sugared items are my drug of choice… The other day my mother-in-law told me that 100g of sugar shuts down the immune system for 4 hours. Yikes. I need to hear more of that stuff to keep the stuff from looking so damn appealing!

  7. Marie, my Mom has been telling me that for a few years now but I’ve been trying to put that into the category of ‘quackland’. Thank you for giving it some credibility and thereby ruining my virginal love-affair with sucrose, fructose, lactose, and personal favorite galactose.
