Yoga Thought Of The Day

Often, during Yoga class, the instructor will speak to keep our mind engaged. Each day a small something stands out from their instructions and I take that with me. I savor it, hold on to it like a child with a first lollipop. Drinking in the sweetness, savoring the experience.
Today’s thought:
Bring Intention.
Bring intention. How often do I think without intention? How often do I DO without intention. How often do I write/talk/react without intention?
Bring Intention.
Intention is not the same as Attention. Intention means more. It’s a state of being. Being now. Being here. Bringing an intention, a purpose, to your action.
Today, I am trying to bring intention.
Are you?

Love this. I’m totally posting a link to this on the Mindbloom fan page. Well said, girl.
yah, this is my personal homework. I just wrote about this last week actually…

Oh this is perfect and even sounds like something from “You’ve Got Mail.”
Then of course, the next thing would be:
The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall. Decaf. Cappuccino.
Thanks for posting this - it’s amazing when you analyse your life, and see just how much we do without really having any intention, any purpose.
Now, I shall strive to change this in my life!
Taking it on to larger scale this has real significance to our daily life. We need to bring intention in everything we do. That will give more success.
